At its core, Re:Source is focused on enhancing energy and water savings in charities and the underprivileged by adopting a holistic, community-centered strategy. We will begin by conducting research into current practices in solar energy usage. Through this study, we will get an idea of what works now, the challenges, and more importantly, the prime areas where we need to intervene, particularly in the use of renewable energy.
Based on our discoveries, we intend to raise funds to implement the required infrastructure for these best practices. Next, we will also create a simplified manual on energy-saving practices for organizations to implement at a community level. To move beyond our current scope, we intend to upscale the initiative by recruiting an army of passionate volunteers and collaborating with additional small organizations and charities.
To aid this, we will write a training guide for our volunteers and recruit volunteers based on their interest. We also intend to arrange webinars with policy experts and government officers. These webinars will showcase successful energy interventions and promote knowledge-sharing and collaboration. Through these multi-faceted efforts, Re:Source aims to substantially broaden access to energy and water conservation knowledge and equipment for charities and small businesses and promote a more sustainable future.
